Let Him Sleep, for when he wakes, he will move mountains.
A quote that sounds so sweet and oh-so-beautiful but as a mom i read it this way : Let that child sleep, for when he wakes, he will not only move mountains, he will climb over them, paint them with Sudocrem, scream at them, throw Lego at them, break them, ride on them and absolutely destroy them.
Maybe i’m just the one mom that has a really active, busy little boy, but that’s how i interpret that quote. As i’m typing this, he is reaching for the bum balm that i’m supposed to photograph today… If i don’t stop him, there will be bum balm all over my office, ALL OVER! But you know what? I wouldn’t trade my mountain mover for anything in this world.
He is kind, he is lovable and so incredibly smart that he leaves me speechless. He spoils me with kisses and hugs and constant “Wove yooouuu!”‘s (Thats baby slang for Love You). He has given my life more meaning than i ever thought possible. So i have to deal with a messier house, drawings on the wall, constant “mamma mamma mamma” and some really bad poop diapers… I would not change it for the world! Â #BoyMomForTheWin
