So James isn’t a big breakfast eater and usually just nibbles. (Which is fine, each kid is different). Today we have a little photo series of James sitting at his Simply Child table (a MUST for any kid, these tables make them feel so independant), eating his brekkie with his brand new Design Letters set. I saw that Eurobebe imports these beauties and i just HAD to have it. A monochrome obsessed mama like myself, could just not resist it.
James loved it, and sang the ABC song as he ate his foodies. We had to be dressed for the part, so a Tiny Tribe outfit was perfect. Gave his “Big Bro” shirt a little trial run 😉 Paired with a Mina Moo snoodie and the new sneaker collection from ShooShoos.
James : “Ok let’s try this out…”
“Let’s just get the hair out my face”
“Lets do this”
“I can cut my toast all on my own”
“And eat it too!”
“This is all my favorites!”
“I’m so independent mom!”
“I eat my toast and cheese separate – did you know you can eat cheese with a fork?”
“Let’s cut the other piece too”
“Now it’s time for my Coco Pops”
“Gotta get it ALL!”
“So good man, so good!”
“Milo-Milkies time in my “J” cup”
“Just testing it with my teaspoon to see if it’s hot”
“I approve, let’s drink this baby”
“Mine, no one can take this.”
Me : “Was it good?” James : “…”
“Yes mom, i LOVE it!”
Breakfast in a nutshell. Yes he did mess on his white shirt. It is soaking right now in some hand-wash Omo to get the stains out. Luckily the black Mina Moo Snood caught most of the little mess he made. Till next meal folks!
I found this post so inspiring. I have a an 8 year old, a 2 and 3 year old…sometimes a mama just needs to be reminded her little people are capable! Thank you! With 3 I sometimes forget the simple things. Your little James is gorgeous by the way?❤
